I fished Rock Creek for several days this past week. At first, it was high and colored due to the heavy rains last weekend. However, by the end of the week, levels had fallen, and the water had cleared. With improved water conditions, a morning caddis hatch started, peaking in the late evening. This provided fishing for surface feeding fish.
Most fish were beautiful cutthroat, but a few rainbows and browns were mixed in as well.
Its in great shape, and will likely be for the next 2-3 weeks.
